Pennsylvania is known for its homes, architecture, and vast amounts of history, so the William Penn Inn only ever feels like a suitable option for a classic wedding in the area! Located in Gwynedd, the William Penn Inn is known as the oldest operating inn in the state. It has plenty of grounds to explore during portraits, outdoor locations perfect for outdoor ceremonies during the spring, summer, and fall, and ballrooms that range in size from ones suitable for intimate weddings to those more appropriate for large gatherings. The best part? The William Penn Inn served as a wonderful location for Staci and Matthew’s June 24, 2018 summer wedding day.
With both their ceremony and reception occurring in a classic and historic location, a timeless invitation suite felt both needed and necessary. The invitation I designed was a triple layer piece with black card stock serving as the base layer, mirrored gold as the middle layer, and cream matte card stock stacked on top. All of S+M’s details were printed digitally using black ink in script and block fonts, and the suite was held together with a cream, gold, and black bellyband complete with a two-letter monogram square on top.
I hope you will love the photos you’re about to see below because Haley, Carly, and I had fun styling all of their details together with bright pops of color!
