I created Philadelphia custom wedding stationery for Stephanie and Eric, who were married on May 3rd at Old St. Mary’s Church. Their wedding invitations were inspired by Philadelphia’s Hotel Monaco, where their reception was held. I continued their wedding stationery along the same theme, using purple and green and the iconic pattern that the hotel uses on its wallpaper.
Stephanie dressed her bridesmaids in a lovely shade of lilac, while the groomsmen wore gray. I love their purple striped ties, and the bow ties on the boys are just precious!
I created these programs to match Stephanie and Eric’s wedding invitations. They have the same pattern at the top and bottom and the same “C” monogram, but the programs also have a little bow on them.
Old St. Mary’s, where Stephanie and Eric had their wedding ceremony, is the second oldest Roman Catholic church in Philadelphia. It has a beautiful sanctuary with high ceilings and stained glass. The brick walkways outside were perfect for taking bridal party portraits!
Stephanie and Eric have a great, abiding love for the city of Philadelphia. They used a city landmark for each of their tables: Love Park, the Liberty Bell, Reading Terminal, Society Hill, Pat’s Steaks, 30th Street Station, Independence Hall, Rittenhouse Square, Boathouse Row, Lincoln Financial Field, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Italian Market, Headhouse Square, and the Comcast Center.
Guests used a seating chart to find their tables. It listed all of the landmarks and guests’ names, with a silhouette of the Philadelphia skyline in the background.
The Hotel Monaco is a great space for hosting a wedding reception! By all accounts, this wedding was full of love and laughter. Stephanie and Eric spent lots of time on the dance floor, and fun was had by all!
Thanks to Danette of JPG Photography for these images. They’re spectacular!
As always, I’d like to extend my congratulations to the happy couple. Stephanie and Eric, I hope your lives together continue to bring you laughter and fun!
