I am back with another real wedding, friends! And, I promise it will quickly prove it’s been worth the wait! Let’s kickoff our Wednesday with Sheree and David. Shall we?
S+D were married last summer on August 9, 2018. They each started their days by getting ready with their bridesmaids or groomsmen, and I love the photos captured during this time. Sheree and her bridesmaids look like they were having so much fun together (their robes are fabulous!), and I think it’s safe to say the gents were enjoying their own moments together.
Before they walked down the aisle, Sheree and David opted to join together for a first look. I always love seeing the expectant looks on the groom’s face, in particular, and David looks like he was overjoyed to finally see Sheree. She looked gorgeous in her wedding dress, and David looked completely dapper! This sweet pair also captured photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and it’s safe to say they are one great looking crew!
Upon arriving to their ceremony at the Morris Arboretum, guests were immediately greeted with details! Sheree and I both share the same love for all things paper, so a wedding welcome sign that matched their gorgeous wedding invitation suite was the first thing guests saw. Then each guest was presented with a ceremony program that doubled as a fan (the perfect thing for the August heat!) at their seat.
The beauty continued during their cocktail hour, which Sheree and David also hosted outside. During this part of the fun, guests sipped on cocktails, enjoying appetizers, and learned where they would sit for the reception. Similar to the piece we designed for the ceremony, another sign was in order for the cocktail hour. This time, it was a seating chart! I loved how it was framed by a beautiful mirror to add even more glamour.
Sheree and David’s reception got underway, and guests were again presented with a gift at their seat. This time, it was a bottle of wine with a gift tag I designed. Plus, Sheree and David were also so kind to want to leave a thank you note tucked into each guest’s place setting. It’s a detail I hope more couples opt to include!
From the start of their day to their ceremony, cocktail hour through first and parent dances, Sharyn Frankel Photography did such a wonderful job capturing Sheree and David’s wedding day. S+D, thank you for letting me share in your excitement and stationery details! Congratulations. xo
