You may remember Sara and Ross from a few months ago. I excitedly shared their wedding invitation suite for their Cairnwood Estate wedding day, and I promised to share more about their celebration. Well, the day is finally here! Please be warned: You will fall in love with this couple, their style, and their photos, which were captured by Keristin from Haley Richter Photography!
Before they officially became married, Sara and Ross each spent their mornings prepping to walk down the aisle at Cairnwood Estate. I love Sara’s first photos in her dress! Once they were ready, S+R saw each other for the first time outside in the gardens of the estate. The sunlight, warmth, and flowers in bloom looked perfect during their first photos together, and the wonderful weather and stunning natural light only continued.
In order to officially become a married pair, Sara and Ross recited their vows just a few minutes away from Cairnwood Estate at Bryn Athyn Cathedral. To get married in this church is something special – it’s exquisitely grand with soaring ceilings, beautiful architecture, and wonderful acoustics. I’m certain their guests loved every moment of witnessing S+R’s wedding ceremony, and their ceremony concluded with a celebratory petal toss as they excited the church!
While Sara and Ross enjoyed their first moments as a married couple, guests sipped on champagne cocktails complete with champagne flute scrolls, which were waiting for them inside the estate. I also created a wedding welcome sign, “sip & be seated” sign, signature drink signs, and a hashtag sign! On the terrace, long and round wooden tables lined the interior of the tent, and they were topped with romantic blush table runners and pink and ivory blooms. Plenty of candles were present too, as well as table numbers, and a floral place card also marked each guest’s seat to complete the look.
To allow the tent to keep its intimate feel, dancing happened in the foyer of Cairnwood Estate. The space is soaring, and I love how Keristin took that into consideration when capturing photos of Sara, Ross, and their guests while they danced! I should also note Sara and Ross’s first dance was choreographed – she’s a dancer, so I would not have expected anything less! Dancing continued throughout the night, interrupted only by Sara and Ross’s cake cutting, until the couple’s reception came to a close.
I’m certain you can tell, but I have to say it again: I love Sara and Ross and their wedding so much. I’m still so thrilled they enjoyed such a beautiful day, and I cannot wait for my next wedding at Cairnwood Estate. If you’re planning your wedding, please consider this space. You will not be disappointed!
