I love being a Philadelphia-based wedding stationery designer. Even so, I’m always excited to take on projects that allow me to see other places! Meagan and Tommy are a Notre Dame couple, through and through. They met at the historic Indiana university, and on July 12th, 2014, they returned for a Notre Dame wedding!
I created invitations and save the dates for Meagan and Tommy. They had both of them put in a silver frame to have at their wedding, which I think is so sweet! And a great idea, considering how cute they both look in their save the date photo, courtesy of Peter Thurin Photography. Thanks to Peter for these amazing wedding photos, as well!
Meagan looked so beautiful! Those are orchids in her bouquet, by the way.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, pictured on Meagan and Tommy’s wedding programs. It is a breathtaking cathedral! It’s definitely one of the most religiously significant choices available for a Catholic ceremony. It serves as the mother church of the Congregation of Holy cross. Ever year, countless visitors seek to experience its majesty.
Can you even imagine how special it would be to have your marriage blessed in such a place?
Fun Notre Dame-centric wedding photos were a must for Meagan and Tommy. They’re true fans of the Fighting Irish!
It’s a tradition for players to touch the “Play Like A Champion Today” sign on their way out of the locker room. Meagan and Tommy both gave it a slap on their way to celebrating their marriage.
They also had a replica of the sign made to serve as their guest book!
Meagan and Tommy’s wedding colors were silver and coral. I created menus with the same coral heart design and monogram as their invitation’s bellyband. Like the invitations, the menus were mounted on a metallic silver cardstock.
Meagan and Tommy’s reception venue was one of Indiana’s finest. The Palais Royale has an impressive, 9,000-square-foot ballroom with hardwood floors and a winding Grand Staircase.
Meagan and Tommy, these photos are amazing. You both look radiant! Your wedding was as unique and romantic as the story of how you met, and I hope your marriage continues in the same tradition. Congratulations!
