Making connections with other wedding vendors is a huge part of being a Philadelphia custom wedding stationery designer. I was exhilarated when Robertson’s Flowers & Events approached me about creating custom candle wraps for their clients, Diane and Greg!
I am a huge fan of the work that Robertson’s Flowers does. Their floral arrangements, as exemplified by this wedding, are elegant and sophisticated. Diane’s bouquet was romantic and soft, in tones of blush, pink, cream, sage and lime green. These colors appeared in the table settings, where crisp black and white linens were complemented small vases of lush flowers: garden roses, dahlias, hydrangea, and lisianthus.
For my part, I created these candle wraps in slate gray to bridge the gap between the soft floral arrangements and the sharp linens. As the reception progressed and night began to fall, the flowers were illuminated by the warm glow of candlelight.
Thanks so much to Robertson’s Flowers for approaching me about creating these! You can read a bit more about Diane and Greg’s wedding at Le Méridien Philadelphia on the Robertson’s Flowers blog.
Thanks also to Main Line Photography for these gorgeous photos.
