Lauren and Ashley have a romantic love story, and they had an equally romantic wedding! These two met in Cancun, danced the night away, and have been sweeping each other off their feet ever since. Their romance’s tropical origins definitely played a part in their wedding’s inspiration! Look for pops of hot pink everywhere, including the custom wedding stationery I created for them.
The Manor House at Prophecy Creek is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue! Lauren and Ashley were married there on August 16th, 2014. It’s a huge venue that sits on 80 acres of pristine landscaping, fountains and waterfalls, a stone bridge, and even a “private island” with a gazebo!
Lauren looked absolutely beautiful in her strapless lace gown. I especially love how her nails matched her bridesmaids’ dresses!
Ashley and his groomsmen wore bright pink ties, gray suits, and hibiscus boutonnieres. Ashley also wore a really cool pair of Chucks with his suit!
Wojtaszek Weddings was responsible for capturing every moment of Lauren and Ashley’s big day, including their touching first look! Here’s a link to their blog post for even more photos.
Lauren and Ashley’s groomsmen even wore pink yarmulkes! Their chuppah was built from birch branches, which looked gorgeous with the emerald greenery and bright pink peonies that decorated it. I created program fans for their ceremony, which the guests were grateful for on that hot August day! They used a similar design to the one I used on Lauren and Ashley’s custom wedding invitations.
Lauren and Ashley’s wedding reception was held on the two-tiered terrace at the Manor House at Prophecy Creek. Their escort cards were held by little silver elephants! Isn’t that adorable?
I also love these table settings, with huge pink blossoms and beautiful table number signs. Every detail of this wedding was spot-on!
As it happens, Lauren and Ashley are on their tropical honeymoon right now! I hope you’re enjoying the weather and each other’s company, you guys. You deserve it!
