Julia and Jay are the duo behind Hansen Photography and Video. On April 12th, these two got to be on the other side of the camera! They were married at the Plymouth Country Club. You might remember their wedding invitations from their vibrant pink, glittery bellyband. I designed a few other pieces of Philadelphia custom wedding stationery for their big day, as well.
Julia and Jay dated while they were in school, so they’re seasoned pros at writing love letters to one another. Jay wrote this one to Julia for her to read on the morning of their wedding. Sweet, isn’t it? Also, I love the rhinestones on the same finger as her engagement ring! Glitter plays a pretty big role in this wedding, as you’ll see.
There’s that vibrant pink again! What a great wedding color. Each of Julia’s bright pink roses had a crystal set in its center, for a little extra sparkle.
Plymouth Country Club is located in Montgomery County, surrounded by 127 acres of rolling green. They’re one of the most well-known wedding reception sites in the Philadelphia area. They’ve cornered the market on sophisticated, elegant weddings! That’s definitely the kind of wedding Julia and Jay had in mind.
Julia is a math teacher, and she had the idea to make math problem escort tent cards. Each guest had to solve a math problem–an easy one–in order to figure out their table number. I made them, and the framed directions to solving each one, as well.
Here are some of those old love letters that I was talking about! They framed them and displayed them for all to see. How romantic!
Thank you to Jim Heine Photography for these gorgeous photos! Congratulations and thank you also to Julia and Jay for involving me in your wedding day. I had a great time designing your Philadelphia custom wedding stationery!
