Real Wedding: Erica + Dan | Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts

Escort Cards, Menu, Real Wedding, Signage, Stationery, Table Numbers, Wedding Day Stationery, Wedding Invitations, Wedding Programs

The best way to begin a Tuesday is with a celebration, so I thought today would be the perfect day to share Erica and Dan’s wedding with you! You may remember E+D from their wedding invitations, which featured a stunning illustration by Arnaud Faugas complete with flowers, the Philadelphia skyline, and the Liberty Bell. With an illustration that beautiful, I knew this pair would want to use it to inspire their entire wedding. And they did!

Erica and Dan’s day began with much needed time spent getting ready. Erica’s Sarah Seven gown is beautiful, and I loved seeing her reaction when Tonia from Aribella Events presented her with her peony bouquet!

Once they were both ready, E+D shared a meaningful first look together. There are few photographers like the team from M2, and I know this pair will cherish the photos captured from this moment!

Just before the ceremony, Erica and Dan signed their ketubah. Of course, this piece had their color palette in mind. Once signed, Erica walked down the aisle toward Dan in a modern ceremony inside the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. I was thrilled to lend my designs to their ceremony by designing the programs with Arnaud’s design at the heart of it all!

Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs., the PAFA space was transformed for their reception! A custom sign offered guests information about E+D’s guest book, plus we used Arnaud’s beautiful illustration for the escort cards. I also designed the table numbers, which featured a menu on the reverse side, as well as favor tags. I loved finding the perfect font to complement each design, and I also have to say how gorgeous the centerpieces designed by Tonia looked. I love how she paired her blooms with paint brushes as a nod to the venue!

There’s something to love about each and every wedding, but I feel I find something new to adore about Erica and Dan’s wedding each time I catch a glimpse of the photos. E+D, I’m so grateful to have played a role in your celebration, and I’m sure guests also truly enjoyed receiving thank you notes on your custom cards!
