I had the great honor of working with Brittany and Daniel on their complete stationery story. We started with their save the date announcement, which featured fabulous photos from their session with their photographer at some of Philadelphia’s iconic landmarks. Then, I shared their luxurious black and gold foil invitation suite. This suite looked incredible (if I do say so myself!), and I have no doubt guests realized they were going to experience a stunning day once they opened their mail. I also love how the flourishes and color palette were carried throughout many of Brittany and Daniel’s wedding day details.
The couple kicked off their wedding day at the Hilton at Penn’s Landing. The view of the city from the hotel looks as though it offered the couple and their wedding party a perfect sneak peek of what was to come! The bride and bridesmaids enjoyed hair and makeup in Brittany’s suite, and they also had their first peek at Brittany’s stunning wedding dress. And, I have to note how sweet the photos are of the bride and her mom together moments before she slipped into her gown.
Rather than traveling together to the ceremony, the groom, groomsmen, and bridesmaids arrived separately, while Brittany and her dad rode in style in a vintage Rolls Royce. From the photos, it looks like Brittany and her dad enjoyed many wonderful moments during their short ride to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Once there, Brittany and her dad walked down the dramatic aisle together toward Daniel who waited at the altar, and I designed the wedding ceremony programs. To celebrate their new union, guests gathered outside and blew bubbles as they couple walked down the steps together. These photos are so fun, and I hope Brittany and Daniel frame them all!
Before joining their guests at cocktail hour, Brittany and Daniel visited the Merchant’s Exchange in Old City Philadelphia to capture photos together and with their bridal party. Of course, they also had to capture a photo on Broad Street in front of City Hall, which also matches the same photo they captured during their engagement session!
At the Crystal Tea Room, which I think is one of the most elegant, luxurious, and dramatic wedding venues in the city, guests sipped cocktails and enjoyed light bites in advance of dinner and dancing. A Philadelphia Eagles ice sculpture was on full display, and guests could also take a peek at the wedding signage and seating chart I designed. I collaborated with Ever Laser to produce Brittany & Daniel’s custom monogram laser cut gold cake topper. It matched their monogram and crest from their wedding invitation!
Inside the reception, glass centerpieces of candles and ivory roses lined each table. Plus, guests were also greeted by custom menus that matched the style of Brittany and Daniel’s wedding invitation at their place setting. While I can’t take the credit for designing them, I also think the gold laser cut names at each place setting were another wonderful touch!
Brittany and Daniel’s band, Barcelona, kept the dance floor full for the entire reception. Everyone looks as though they had a complete blast! Champagne was popped during photos; their cake, with its topper I designed, was cut; and their dances together and with their parents were as heartfelt as I imagined they would be. Tyler Boye did an incredible job capturing Brittany and Daniel’s day, and I have loved every moment I have spent working with this pair and experiencing every moment through the photos. Congratulations, B+D! xo
