Do you remember April and Ryan’s wedding invitation? I designed a black, ivory, red, and gold clutch style suite for them, and the Philadelphia skyline suited their soiree perfectly. The pair tied the knot at Sky Philadelphia, formerly known as the Vista at the Top of the Tower, and the views of the city are unparalleled. This was a wonderful way to offer guests a sneak peek of the side of Philadelphia they would experience on April and Ryan’s wedding day.
Before their ceremony and reception, April and Ryan got ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, plus they also did a first look…on the rooftop of Sky Philadelphia. This will go down in history as one of the most unique and most fabulous first looks to date. Can you imagine? What an iconic thing to experience together just before officially becoming Mr. and Mrs.! Portraits followed too! However, these two hopped around the city with their bridal party and took photos in front of the Christmas tree, holiday carousel, and more.
April and Ryan chose to tie the knot on site at Sky Philadelphia. The glow of the room made it feel intimate and cozy, the flowers enhanced the space beautifully, and I was so honored to design custom programs. Obviously, I’m also partial to the city lights that guests could see just beyond. There’s nothing like a city skyline to act as a backdrop!
Their reception was complete with ivory, black, gold, and red details, and their cake catches my eye every time! I love the red roses they chose to use a cake topper. I also am thrilled to have designed their seating chart, table numbers, and custom signage! Candles, blush and ivory blooms, and greenery also accented each table. The look is classic, timeless, and elegant all at once.
April and Ryan, I loved seeing a peek inside of your wedding day. From your first look to your bridal party portraits, your ceremony through your packed dance floor during your reception, your wedding was filled with such festive spirit perfect for December!
