Amber and Jarred met while they were both attending Temple University, and they also celebrated their engagement in the Philadelphia. So, it was only fitting for A+J to host their wedding in their favorite city too! Filled with a dramatic and glamorous black, white, and gold palette, I am so excited to dive into the details of Amber and Jared’s wedding day.
I shared a peek into the inspiration for their wedding invitation here, but to recap, Amber and Jarred wanted to send their guests a timeless and chic suite inviting them to their nuptials at the Loews Hotel. We printed their invitation using both digital printing and gold foil. I love the more dramatic look by printing their two-letter monogram and names in gold foil. Plus, their suite also included a triple layer – ivory paper, gold mirror paper, and a back layer of ultra-black card stock.
On their wedding day, Amber spent the morning enjoying hair and makeup with her bridesmaids, while Jarred toasted with his groomsmen. One of my favorite moments on any wedding day is when the bride puts on her dress, and Amber’s dress by Pnina Tornei was especially dramatic! Once they were ready, Amber and Jarred saw each other for the first time during their first look, and I think it’s so sweet that Amber started to tear up before Jared had even turned around.
The couple and their families, wedding party, and guests gathered on the 33rd floor of the Loews Hotel for A+J’s wedding ceremony, which was officiated by Amber’s childhood pastor. I particularly adore the ivory floral backdrop, candles, and acrylic details Event Loft PA included in the ceremony space.
Once they were married, the celebration continued on the 33rd floor for cocktail hour and the reception. While sipping their drinks, guests could take a peek at this custom seating chart sign I created, and they could also see the mirror signage I created that was scattered throughout the space. When the ballroom was revealed, guests were met at their seats by menus I also designed. Plus, they also were able to enjoy the black sequin linens, hydrangea and rose centerpieces, and gold details Amber and Jarred so carefully chose with Event Loft PA.
Once dinner was complete, guests filled the dance floor for Amber and Jarred’s dances with their parents, and, of course, plenty of time spent dancing together.
I’m certain it’s clear, but I absolutely loved Amber and Jared’s September 22, 2018 wedding day, and I’m so thrilled it was shared in the latest issue of Modern Luxury Weddings magazine! Congratulations, A+J. xo
