Amanda and Jim knew from the start that art deco would largely inspire each and every choice they made for their wedding day, so their invitation suite was filled with black, white, and gold details. I especially loved their modern monogram, and it’s safe to say I will never say no to gold foil!
Just like their invitations, Amanda and Jim’s wedding day was GORGEOUS and also one of my favorite’s to date! I adored their art deco theme, and it was such a thrill to continue to incorporate their aesthetic and color palette into day of stationery pieces for their Ballroom at the Ben soiree!
Amanda and Jim were married on November 28, 2015 at Old Saint Joseph’s Church in Philadelphia. The location of the church is wonderful, and the architecture inside is marvelous – the perfect place to begin their marriage. Next, the pair and their guests were welcomed to their reception venue for one of the best night’s of dinner and dancing I’m convinced they have all ever experienced.
The reception at the Ballroom at the Ben was completely filled with some of the most gorgeous details. Garlands complete with Christmas lights were hung around the perimeter of the space, and the flowers were completely opulent. Plus, guests were greeted with escort cards done in calligraphy by Helene Gaffin. I designed a signature cocktail sign to aid guests in their cocktail choices, and table numbers and menus were waiting for all as guests found their seats. It’s safe to say I’m also very obsessed with Amanda and Jim’s monogram. There aren’t too many times when one can see their design in an ice sculpture and a gobo on the dance floor, but I now can say that I have (in the same design, no less)!
From the ceremony location to the décor, details, and surely delicious catering by Finley Catering, Amanda and Jim’s wedding is one I’m so thrilled to share. Huge thanks to Karmapants Photography for the gorgeous photos!
