Even though I wished you a Happy New Year and shared my New Year’s Resolutions, I feel like I’m formally welcoming you back to the blog today! How was everyone’s first full week of 2017? I’m already meeting with brides about summer weddings and finalizing spring invitation suites, which is definitely welcome during a time of experiencing the coldest temperatures we’ve felt yet! It may not be warm now, but it’s such a fun (and warm!) reminder to know my favorite time of year is well on its way.
I can’t think of a better way to welcome in 2017 than by sharing I won Best Wedding Invitations from Philly’s A-List. Friends, I was SO excited when I learned we – and it really is we because you voted for April Lynn Designs – had won the category! Philly’s A-List was formally know as Philly’s Hot List, and they release a series of fan (and client!) voted awards each year. Though I design invitations for couples throughout the country, I truly love my home city. To win an award that represents all of the fantastic weddings I’ve been so fortunate to be welcomed into as I design invitations for couples getting married in Philadelphia is something that nearly leaves me speechless.
I’m honored to have been nominated in the Best Wedding Invitations category with so many professionals I admire. I’m honored you took time out of your busiest season (because the holidays are everyone’s busiest time of year!) to vote for April Lynn Designs. And I’m honored to be able to kick off 2017 with such an exciting announcement!
