Table Numbers

I love designing custom wedding invitations for my clients, and it’s even more fun to design Philadelphia custom wedding stationery to match! Seeing the entire wedding stationery suite come together is so rewarding. I get to see my client’s vision through each piece, from programs to escort cards to table numbers.

There’s lots of room for creativity with Philadelphia custom wedding stationery. Table numbers in particular are a great place to express your wedding’s theme. Here are a few of the best ideas I’ve seen:

Photos

Many couples use their engagement sessions to take photos for their save the dates. You can use them to take pictures that you can use on table numbers, too! If you know how many tables you’ll have at your wedding prior to your session, bring along a set of wooden or chalkboard numbers and take photos with them. If not, you can always have the photos printed with numbers on them and made into table number signage.

A flickering candle at the center of each table will really add to your wedding’s ambiance. You can have custom candle wraps designed to match your wedding’s theme and they can even have table numbers printed on them! Consider these slate-gray wraps that I designed for Robertson’s Flowers for their clients, Diane and Greg.

Custom Wine Bottle Labels

If you’re a wine-loving couple who wants to share your passion with your guests, you can’t do better than printing your table numbers right on a bottle of red! Waitstaff can come around and serve wine out of the bottle to your guests, and the empty bottle can become a souvenir of your big day.

Nautical Details

Beach weddings are always a great idea in the summer. Philadelphia has some truly amazing waterfront wedding venues, too! Either of these settings calls for a nautical or beach theme for your table numbers. Ashley and Chris held their wedding reception at Baltimore’s Pier 5 Hotel. Their Harbor Club offers panoramic views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, which perfectly matched the nautically-themed reception details. Ashley and Chris’s table numbers had navy seersucker bows, an anchor between the couples’ initials, and a knot of rope to hold each number in place.

What are your plans for your table numbers at your wedding reception?

Tell me all about them in the comments!
