One of the most beautiful things I get to experience as a stationery designer is when couples ask if I’m able to incorporate art created by family members into their wedding stationery suites. There’s nothing that could provide more of a personalized, unique touch! Plus, it’s such a wonderful way to honor a family member’s beautiful skill. When Patrycia and Matt mentioned they loved another suite that had a familial art tie-in and Matt’s mom was also an artist with talent to offer, I jumped at the chance to truly customize their suite.
Their wedding invitation is not the only way Patrycia and Matt are tied together by family. Patrycia’s best friend is married to Matt’s brother! Needless to say, they spent plenty of time together before their first date. And, I’m so happy for their friends and family that Patrycia and Matt not only decided to date but that they also said yes to marriage!
Patrycia and Matt planned their wedding at The Church of Saint Ann in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and Cescaphe’s Vie in Philadelphia for June 2019. They knew they wanted Matt’s mom’s florals to be incorporated into the suite, so they’re featured on alternating corners on the invitation. I also wanted to use the anemones once more, and the response card was the perfect spot! To add to the rustic, romantic feel, the edges of the invitation were deckled (hand torn). Then the main invitation piece was mounted onto a clutch style pocket, and the inserts, which were digitally printed like the rest of the suite, were tucked inside.
Between the florals, deckled edges, and beautiful pops of sage green, I think Patrycia and Matt’s stationery suite was everything they hoped to send to their guests! Thank you so much to Haley Richter Photography for these captures.
