Although save-the-dates and wedding invitations are very much at the heart of April Lynn Designs, it also feels unbelievably special when I’m contacted to create another event piece. Today, I’m thrilled to share Melissa’s gorgeous bridal shower invitations with you.
Melissa’s parents and maid of honor hosted her bridal shower at Trenton Country Club on October 10, 2015. The venue is elegant, classic, and timeless, so I knew I wanted to reflect the same beautiful detail in Melissa’s invitations. To create the look, I printed the pieces onto soft blush shimmer paper using gold thermography. As much as I love the design, I also adore the request for guests to arrive with their favorite recipe for the bride-to-be. Whether you’re an experienced chef or newer to the kitchen, recipes are such a sweet way to build community among ladies who are longtime friends and those who are new acquaintances!
