Is there a happier color palette than navy and chartreuse (green)? I don’t think so! I loved Meghan and Brandon’s inspiration for their Philadelphia wedding, and I couldn’t stop staring at the bright hues of their suite. But, who can blame me? It was so joyful, classic, and modernly elegant all in one making M+B’s invitations one of my favorites of 2016!
The pair reside in Delaware, but they decided to travel ever-so-slightly north in order to welcome their guests to the City of Brotherly Love for their November 5, 2016 wedding ceremony and reception at Cescaphe Event Group’s Down Town Club. With Philadelphia as the clear theme, we fully embraced the city’s most iconic pieces, like the LOVE statue. A LOVE monogram graced their bright chartreuse bellyband, and I have to admit, it’s my favorite detail.
With such a bright palette, the aspect that allowed the suite to remain classic and timeless was the invitation’s design. Meghan and Brandon chose a double layer pocketfold as their invitation (instant elegance!). We paired the pocketfold with digitally printed text and a fun outline of Philadelphia’s skyline. If I had received one of these invitations, I may have just framed it.
You can catch all of the details below, which Carly Fuller Photography captured beautifully! Then, let me know what you think of the suite in the comments. Happy Wednesday, friends!
