Maria and Christopher celebrated their wedding day on November 30, 2018 at two of the most quintessential venues in Philadelphia. They started their day at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, which is a stunningly gorgeous church right in the heart of Philadelphia. In my opinion, it has the ultimate wedding day aisle! Once they were officially married, their celebration continued with their guests at the Crystal Tea Room. Finley Catering has filled with space with ornate ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and plenty of glamor. Plus, the venue is mere steps away from City Hall! As you can tell, Philadelphia was at the heart of their wedding day, so a city skyline invitation suite was a must!
While designing Maria and Christopher’s suite, we started with the city as our main piece of inspiration. From there, we incorporated their grey and gold color palette. Both are common color choices on their own, but I rarely have the opportunity to combine them. I absolutely LOVED the result! To allow the suite to continue to feel modern, we opted to create a clutch style. The pocket on the back of the suite held all of the inserts, and the front of the suite featured a layering of white metallic paper with gold shimmer, gold glitter, and the grey metallic clutch.
I cannot wait to reveal more of the color palettes this year has in store, but for now I hope you enjoy taking a peek at M+C’s suite below! Thank you, Haley Richter Photography, for capturing all of the details.
