As much as I love meeting with and designing for couples planning weddings in the Philadelphia area, I can’t deny how fun it is to receive an email from a client who lives states away! Luis lives in Miami, Florida, and he caught a glimpse of my work online. When he and Mario started planning their Mount Dora, Florida wedding, he contacted me to create the pair’s save the date.
When we talked through their inspiration, Luis mentioned how much he loved Abby and Warner’s invitation suite. Rather than creating an exact duplicate, we chose to use the framework of the invitation as our guide. Luis and Mario’s piece includes a beautiful, whimsical script font instead of the traditional font chosen for A+W’s suite, but we did keep all of the gold. Plus, we also switched the envelope liner in honor of the gents! How fun is the navy and forest green envelope liner?
Luis and Mario are tying the knot at the Historic Lakeside Inn, and I can’t wait to see photos from their wedding day! Until then, I’ll be eyeing these photos captured by Carly Fuller Photography.
