During the last weekend of 2017, Lisa and Eric welcomed their family and friends to Talamore County Club for their December 30, 2017 winter wedding day. The Montgomery County wedding venue has nods to classic style, but the space can easily be transformed. The latter fact blended beautifully with Lisa’s adoration of art deco style and her sincere desire to welcome a fun theme to her wedding day. Whimsy and eye-catching is a characteristic feature of art deco weddings and this wedding invitation surely was eye-catching!
While designing Lisa and Eric’s suite, I first turned to natural white cotton paper. This neutral layer allowed me to layer gold foil and navy digital printing onto the suite, and the navy shade was also carried throughout the pocket fold and the inserts. I’m drawn to this invitation because it feels modern, but the fonts used throughout and the addition of the couple’s “C” monogram at the top offer the perfect classic touches.
Between the suite and the space, Lisa and Eric’s wedding guests could not have ended 2017 on a better note! I think you will agree after you take a peek at the photos Carly Fuller Photography captured. Thank you so much to Carly is Inspired for styling!
