Beautiful shades of dusty rose are making an appearance in today’s invitation suite, and I could not be more thrilled! Lindsey and Rob were married on October 21, 2017. They had their sights set on Barn on Bridge for their fall wedding, which is one of Robert Ryan Catering’s venues. It’s so clear why L+R (and many others!) knew their celebration had to be at this venue. The space is beautiful because it’s rustic while still being modern. Mason jars are completely appropriate, but timeless elegance has its own place too. Plus, the market lights, exposed wooden beams, and stone walls add a lovely amount of texture and style.
When we were designing their suite, Lindsey and Rob loved the idea of using dusty rose. But, what makes this suite different is we paired the dusty rose with an ivory metallic layer and gray text. The colors compliment this shade of pink perfectly, plus the flourishes in the corners add a pretty hint of elegance.
The beautiful design of the suite didn’t end with the palette and details. We also added a modern dash of function – a pocket was placed in the back to hold the inserts – to give the suite the term “clutch style”. Each suite was placed in a dusty rose metallic envelope, and another fabulous detail – a pearl white wax seal with the couple’s monogram – was added before the invitations were placed in the mail.
