Wedding trends often come and go, but two-letter monograms are one example I hope sticks around forever. They are always beautiful, and they feel as though they effortlessly and elegantly combine both of a couple’s names into one beautiful look. I felt this way back in 2017 when I designed Lauren and Jason’s ivory and gold glitter two-letter monogram invitation suite, and I felt the same way once more while working with Lindsay and Joe on what became their semi custom invitation design based off of Lauren and Jason’s look!
Like Lauren and Jason before them, Lindsay and Joe also chose to celebrate their wedding day in Philadelphia. They kicked off their celebration at the very classic Old St. Joseph’s Church. The church is located in a prime spot in the city, but between the beautiful sanctuary and gates it always feels as though you’re tucked away with the sounds of the city around you. After their wedding recessional, Lindsay and Joe switched locations with their wedding party, families, and friends, and continued to toast to their wedding day at Finley Catering’s Union Trust.
Both of their wedding locations feel classically Philadelphian, so we wanted to make sure that feeling was felt from the moment guests received their invitations. Like Lauren and Jason, Lindsay and Joe also opted for an ivory invitation with gold foil. Their inserts were printed digitally. We customized their design by incorporating additional nods to Philadelphia! The Love logo can be seen on the reception insert, the Liberty Bell makes an appearance on the RSVP card, and guests were greeted by a Philadelphia skyline on the Accommodations card. All were details I loved that felt true to Lindsay and Joe’s style, and they were also all printed in red as a nod to the holiday season.
