Have you ever visited Doylestown? To me, this town is one of Buck’s County’s greatest gems. Doylestown boasts a host of wonderful shops, fabulous restaurants, and the always striking Fonthill Castle. If you have never visited (or even if you have!), I think it’s definitely time to plan your trip. And, if you don’t feel convinced quite yet, wait until you see Lindsay and Jamie’s wedding invitation!
L+J tied the knot on October 28, 2017. Even months later, I still remember the beautiful weather we enjoyed on that day in late fall. So, I have no doubt Lindsay and Jamie enjoyed a fantastic day that began during their ceremony at the one and only Fonthill Castle. With such an architecturally stunning location for the start of their marriage, we all knew a custom illustration was in order. Fonthill was placed on the top of L+J’s wedding invitation, and it made quite an introductory statement!
Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs., the pair moved to the Barn at Forestville with their guests. Located in Furlong, PA, the barn is painted a beautiful shade of red outside – a staple for Bucks County barns (and barns in general, I think!) – and the inside features rustic details, including stunning wood beams throughout. Because Fonthill was not Lindsay and Jamie’s only wedding day location, the remainder of the suite introduced an ivory matte layer, a rose gold glitter layer, and a navy matte layer. The entire invitation was held together with a navy bellyband, and a custom monogram layer was placed on top. The combination was classic, yet not too refined for the couple’s rustic reception space.
Between their ceremony and reception spaces and their wedding invitation’s layers and color palette, it’s safe to say Lindsay and Jamie’s navy and rose gold wedding invitation suite was perfect for their luxury fall wedding.
