I’m ending the blogging week with a suite I have been waiting to share with you! Filled with color and whimsy, Lauren’s bridal shower was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. However, her soiree had a fun twist: her theme was Lauren in Wonderland. I thought this was such a fun detail, and I loved worked with Lauren’s mom, Annmarie, and her sister, Melissa, to design an invitation that fit their fete perfectly. It’s always so fun working with previous clients on other celebrations!
While designing the piece, I knew I wanted to pull details from Alice in Wonderland to help the invitation have the iconic feel of the book and movie. However, I didn’t want it to lose an ounce of elegance because Lauren’s shower was held at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA. I styled the invitation after a Queen of Hearts playing card, included a few beloved phrases, and I also loved the appearance the White Rabbit made. However, I also wove in tons of florals and bright shades of pink and blue so the bridal shower invitation felt elegant and colorful, while also filled with just the right amount of whimsy.
Lauren, Annmarie, and Melissa, you are all the best! I hope guests enjoyed receiving their Lauren in Wonderland mail because I know I so enjoyed creating it with you.
