While Lauren and Jimmy were planning their August 25, 2018 wedding, I had the great pleasure of teaming up with Lauren and her mom to design L+J’s wedding invitations. Thanks to Lauren’s desire to mail a suite to her guests that melded elegance together with a touch of bling, this mother-daughter duo brought plenty of beautiful inspiration to our design table. I love mixing both together, so that’s exactly what we did!
Lauren and Jimmy celebrated their wedding day in Bucks County. Their days began at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Bristol, Pennsylvania for their traditional ceremony before they joined together with their guests at Belle Voir Manor in Bensalem for their reception. I have to share, Belle Voir Manor is part Pen Ryn Estate – a beautifully classic venue favored by many.
A clutch style invitation suite that allowed us to tuck Lauren and Jimmy’s wedding day inserts in the back felt modern and still elegant, so that’s where we began. Then Lauren, her mom, and I agreed flourishes and gold foil were also in order. The flourishes and inserts were printed digitally to keep their budget in check, and that also left room to incorporate gold foil stamping for the text on the invitation’s main piece. Ivory metallic paper was used for the invitation and the inserts, and the complete clutch suite was placed inside a blush metallic envelope for mailing.
Thank you so much to Haley Richter Photography for capturing Lauren and Jimmy’s invitation suite!
