Whether you’re from Philadelphia or you’re visiting for the first time, you simply must visit a few of the iconic sites. We’re known for Independence Mall and Independence Hall, and there are few places like them. But, the Ben Franklin Bridge is also a something to be seen along with the Delaware River. They’re all historic, they’re all stunning, and all of the sites (and views!) mentioned can be seen from Cescaphe Event Group’s Old City venue, the Down Town Club. Philadelphia is not short on beauty or weddings in beautiful spaces.
Lauren and Jason welcomed their guests to the Down Town Club for their ceremony and reception on July 28, 2017. When historic sites meet timeless style, it only makes sense to pair both with class and elegance and glitz and glam too. That’s why I loved that Lauren was drawn to neutral colors and gold.
We mixed up the printing styles and papers for L+J’s invitation suite and chose to print the invitation with gold foil and save digital printing for the inserts. The main invitation piece was printed onto ivory metallic cardstock and layered on top of more ivory cardstock, but this piece included gold shimmer. Lauren also requested a custom monogram with just the first initials of the couple’s names, and I love the way it completed the suite, especially when the monogram and invitation were paired with a gold glitter bellyband!
