Let’s adventure to Villanova and Blue Bell, shall we? Kyle and Jonathan were married on September 16, 2017. They kicked off the festivities during their ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova. The setting absolutely set the scene for a timeless and classic wedding, which was perfect because K+J’s celebration continued just after during their Blue Bell Country Club reception.
In order to offer a sneak peek into their classic wedding, I designed a double layer clutch style wedding invitation. The bottom layer was burgundy, which was a wonderful nod to the couple’s fall wedding. On top, I placed a layer of ivory metallic. We placed all of the inserts in the back of the invitation, and each one was printed digitally in burgundy to complement the suite.
One of my key suggestions for the pair’s suite was for Kyle and Jonathan to use bronze thermography. I’m always keen to present invitations with new printing techniques and font colors. I love how the bronze and burgundy created the perfect fall pairing that was also new and different!
