I’ve found some of the area’s most beautiful wedding venues are located in Bucks County, and I can’t say I’m surprised. There are plenty of beautiful vistas, hidden waterways, and open spaces around every corner, and The Lake House Inn offers all three in spades. Located a quick one hour away from Philadelphia and 1.5 hours from New York City, The Lake House Inn is a wonderful spot to offer guests a taste of Bucks County and a destination wedding without being too far away from either city’s busy streets. And, knowing it’s the same spot where The Philadelphia Eagles’ Carson Wentz also tied the knot with his wife, Madison, definitely helps!
With many of the wonderful details about The Lake House Inn in mind, I was thrilled to learn Kristina and Jeremy planned to celebrate their wedding ceremony and reception there with their family and friends on November 30, 2018. They both agreed they wanted to mail their guests a classic wedding invitation, so we turned to a palette of navy and burgundy with a fabulous mixture of rose gold.
Their suite included a pocketfold with a navy shimmer color. Inside, we layered rose gold glitter on top of the navy pocketfold’s base layer. Ivory metallic paper was added on top of the rose gold glitter to complete the triple layer look. All of the details were printed digitally using a combination of navy and burgundy ink. Together, the look was classic and elegant to achieve a perfect glamorous balance.
Jeremy just so happens to be my best friend’s brother, and I was thrilled when she referred Jeremy and Kristina my way. It shows so much support in the pieces I create, and it’s the biggest honor to design for those you both know and love.
