I’m asked often to describe my favorite weddings, and it’s always difficult for me to pinpoint just one. However, the weddings that always stand out the most to me are the ones that are the most personal. The couple has taken their wedding day, and the celebrations prior, to completely weave their story through every moment and every angle. As a designer, I feel as though I know them, and I always imagine guests who have known them for ages walking away from the couple’s wedding day having learned something new.
When Krissy and John said they loved to travel and had photographed their engagement session around their mutual passion for exploring, I knew we had found a great piece of inspiration for their save the date. We all decided the photos John Barone Photography captured during their session were so stunning they had to be shared, so their save the date featured quite a few! The front photo included Krissy and John along with a globe that said, “love is an adventure” – a perfect, personal antidote about the couple and their upcoming wedding. The back featured all of the details, as well as additional photos from their session. The result, to me, feels both personal and elegant – two adjectives I know they will use to describe their upcoming September 14, 2018 Cescaphe Ballroom wedding!
