How often do flowers draw you in? For me, it’s constant! And, I know I can’t be the only one. Blooms in any shade are one of the best ways to create an eye-catching stationery design, which is why I love when clients want to incorporate them. They add warmth and color, plus they can add texture and depth too. Flowers are just as perfect for bridal showers, like today’s suite, as they are for save-the-dates, wedding invitations, escort cards, and more.
Not only do I always look forward to designing with flowers, but I also love when past clients contact me to work together again. Stasia and I worked together previously, and this time, she wanted me to design a bridal shower invitation for her friend, Kelly. Stasia knew she wanted guests to be greeted with burgundy and blush flowers on natural white matte card stock when they opened their mail, and that is exactly what I created for her. Of course, I had to add flair to the suite, so the flowers have a watercolor look, and block and script fonts combined to share all of the details.
