One of my favorite areas to explore in Philadelphia is Manayunk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy, and I always love experiencing the neighborhood feel that this section of the city offers. Plus, it’s located mere moments away from Center City. It’s such a great spot for a wedding, and I love knowing Kashane and Mark discovered that fact and more when they opted to host their reception at Beat Street. The venue was once a train station, so it encompasses both historical and industrial design elements, just like many other spaces in Manayunk and Philadelphia as a whole. Knowing this, we wanted to incorporate both elements and color when designing K+M’s invitation suite.
I mentioned recently that one of the top trends I’m excited to see continue to rise is invitations printed on materials other than paper. Acrylic is one such option, and it’s what Kashane and Mark thought would best match their vision! We opted for a frosted acrylic for the main piece from their suite, and I think the beautiful burgundy blooms pop even more as a result. To continue to tie their color palette into the design, we printed the inserts on blush matte paper, which matched the blush envelopes.
I hope you enjoy taking a further peek at K+M’s invitation suite, which was captured by Haley Richter Photography, below! And, if you’re envisioning an acyclic invitation suite, let’s chat further.
