When Kaitlyn and John started pulling their favorite stationery suite inspiration together, Kaitlyn happened upon Melissa and Alex’s blush, gold foil, and gold glitter suite. As Kaitlyn will tell you, she fell in love with this suite quickly! She knew instantly M+A suite would be the perfect piece for the modern wedding she was planned with John at Cescaphe Event Group’s Atrium at Curtis Center. And, I couldn’t have agreed with the pair more!
Rather than using every piece from Melissa and Alex’s suite to a T, we chose to make subtle changes to allow Kaitlyn and John’s suite to look and feel a bit more customized. We swapped out the slightly bolder blush flourishes from M+A’s suite in favor of a softer flourish featured as a backdrop on the main invitation piece. We also changed the wording of each insert to “please join us” and “let’s celebrate” – a detail I love, especially because you can see the inserts’ wording right as you take the suite out of the envelope. Each invitation was mounted onto gold glitter paper and then again onto blush card stock. The resulting gold foil piece – gold glitter bellyband and monogram included – is one that I know warmly welcomed guests to a modern affair set in the heart of Philadelphia.
