Today’s invitation is completely rustic, and it fit the couple and their venue seamlessly. Jill and John were married just outside of New Hope in Bucks County, PA at Ash Mill Farm on October 3, 2015. From the fall season to the farm venue, there were so many places to turn for inspiration!
The crisper fall season definitely helped to inspire the color palette. We opted to use deep shades of burgundy and brown throughout the suite, including the flannel that acted as a bellyband (complete with a button and twine!) as well as an envelope liner. Rather than printing each invite, every piece was created using a laser. Plus, all of the artwork was burned into the wood! Another favorite detail is the sheep that appears on the front. Ash Mill Farm is home to many animals, including sheep, so it was such a fun nod to the place where the ceremony and reception took place. On the back of the accommodations insert, Jill and John also wanted to include a custom map of the area. Wedding stationery tip: maps are a fantastic way to help guests explore the area and get their bearings if they’ve never been to town before!
Jill and John’s rustic wooden wedding invite will forever be a fall favorite! You will be able to see why as you take a peek at the photos below from Lauren Driscoll Photography.
