Jessica and Dan both lived in different areas of Philadelphia when they met. She was living in Fairmount, and Dan was living in Northern Liberties. Though their neighborhoods may have been different, they both shared the same love for city living, Philadelphia sports, and spending time outside. When it was time to design their save the dates for their Old St Mary’s Church ceremony and Cescaphe Ballroom reception, we didn’t have to look far to find inspiration. We turned to the same things that make them the happiest: photos from their engagement session, Philadelphia sports teams, and the city skyline!
I always love when couples want to incorporate photos from their engagement session into their save the dates. There’s nothing that excites guests more than opening mail with photos of a couple they know and adore smiling back at them! To add to the fun from their session, we pulled from the Eagles green featured in one of their photos to create the background color we used at the bottom. Then we added an outline of the city skyline and printed additional details digitally. The contrast looked wonderful!
Before you look at the photos Haley Richter Photography captured of Jessica and Dan’s save the date magnet, I wanted to point out one more detail – Jessica and Dan’s wedding website! Make sure to include a link on your save the date so guests can check out your site, read about the story of your relationship, learn more about your wedding’s locations, and explore your wedding registry.
