Although offering a nod to the holiday in which your wedding shares a date is not a requirement, I do love when couples embrace the season! Jennifer and Stephen were married on October 31, 2015 at the beautiful Washington Crossing Inn in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In order to incorporate Halloween into their suite, we focused on using the colors found in their wedding palette – orange, deep purple, and white – with just a hint of the holiday through spider detailing.
Each piece included in J+S’s wedding invitation suite was digitally printed. We started by framing the invitation with lace in a deep purple. The spider hanging in the center was one of our favorite additions! Then each piece from the suite was digitally printed onto white paper. The white piece was layered on top of metallic orange paper, which was layered again on top of purple paper. Because glitter is always necessary, an orange glitter bellyband held the entire invitation suite together.
It’s safe to say a Halloween wedding is better than a costume party and candy combined!
Thanks so much to Lauren Driscoll Photography for capturing this custom wedding invitation suite!
