Delaware may be a smaller state, but their lack of square miles is completely made up for through their beautiful wedding venues. Winterthur Museum & Country Estate is one of them. The home once belonged to Henry Francis du Pont, and it offers guests the opportunity to host their wedding settled amongst its 1,000 acres – 60 of which are gardens.
There are outdoor spots, including the fabulous reflecting pool, where couples can host ceremonies, cocktail hours, and even receptions, and there are also a number of indoor locations too. Even if you only take a quick peek, I think you will see very quickly why Jaclyn and TJ fell in love with the location for their wedding day on November 10, 2018.
Winterthur Museum has an elegant, classic, and stately feel, so Jaclyn and TJ’s wedding invitation needed to match the aesthetic. Jaclyn noted how much she adored Colleen and Chris’s wedding invitation. C+C’s suite featured gold foil and navy, which didn’t quite match J+T’s palette. So, we made a few quick changes! Navy and gold changed to silver foil and eggplant. The silver foil was only used on the invitation and the eggplant colored text was digitally printed onto beautiful cream colored matte cardstock. The suite still featured a bellyband – eggplant, to add color – as well as the couple’s monogram.
Jaclyn and TJ’s semi-custom wedding invitation suite was a gorgeous way to invite their guests to Winterthur Museum and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in West Grove, Pennsylvania. I hope you love seeing a look into their suite, thanks to Haley Richter Photography!
