Happy 2nd Anniversary To Me!

My Own Story

Today’s my anniversary! I owe so much to so many people for making the wedding of my dreams happen, and none more than my wonderful husband, Mitch. We have a beautiful baby (read: our pitbull) and our first two years of marriage couldn’t have been better!

Our wedding was at The Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs. What a great spot for a winter wedding! It has some great indoor facilities that we decked out in red and white. There were even some touches alluding to Mitch’s and my love of football.

We got some great pictures on the manor’s grounds, too. One tip I have for winter brides: work some fur into your ensemble! My white capelet kept me nice and toasty while we took portraits outside, and I know my bridesmaids appreciated the black ones I used to accent their red dresses.

My capelet also made a great backdrop for ring shots. Thanks to Amanda Young of Swoon Over It Photography for your creativity!

Another vendor and friend of mine, Tina of Make Me Glam, did my makeup. And in case you’re wondering, yes, I did design my own Philadelphia custom wedding stationery.

Here’s another great photo with a few of my gorgeous bridesmaids: that’s Danielle laughing on the left, Karol with the camera, and Melania all the way on the right.

This is one of my favorite bridal portraits!

Our reception was a blast. Brookside Manor has such elegant facilities, and this photo captures their warmth–and the warmth of having all our family and friends there to celebrate our big day.

Mitch, I love you so much! I’m so happy to have spent the last two years as your wife, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
