Eat, Drink and Be Married is a popular saying that is used on wedding invitations and wedding day stationery. I was already designing Emily’s wedding invitation, and when Emily’s best friend, Lauren, learned that fact, she was quick to contact me to design another piece – Emily’s bridal shower invitation. I’m so thrilled to have designed Emily’s bridal shower invitation for her celebration at The Villas at Five Ponds Clubhouse!
Emily’s mom hosted what I am sure was a lovely shower for Emily in February. Lauren knew Emily’s mom was planning a rustic themed shower, and Lauren mentioned Emily loved the phrase “Eat, drink, and be married”. The phrase was happily placed on top of the piece! The rest of the invitation featured a mixture of script and block fonts, which were a perfect nod to the rustic theme. I also love how we added a pop of color by printing the piece on light blush colored matte cardstock and mailing it in a matching light blush envelope.
