Whenever I’m designing, I always look for themes – color palettes, print styles, and favorite details. After designing quite a few Philadelphia themed invitations, it’s safe to say the city’s famed skyline is a definite theme as it’s one of the most loved by my couples! And, it was one of Emily and Stan’s must-have details for their wedding invitations.
When I was designing E+S’s suite, I knew I wanted to incorporate the skyline in a slightly different way. Rather than designing their invitations with a large graphic, I created a simple line drawing instead. It was the perfect decision for Emily and Stan because their suite needed to feel luxurious while also leaning more toward simple style.
With a classic palette of dark blue and ivory and a ceremony at Old St. Joseph’s Church, I have to believe Emily and Stan’s June 2, 2017 Ballroom at the Ben wedding was equally as classic as their invitation suite! Carly Fuller Photography captured every angle for you to view below.
