When I designed Danielle and William’s save the date, they knew they wanted to feature the Philadelphia skyline because they hosted their wedding in the city. However, when it was time to design their wedding invitation, they both opted for a much more formal look. I think it’s fabulous, and I can’t wait to share more details with you!
When I meet with clients, I almost always get to experience one of my favorite parts of the design process – showing and sharing all of the details behind some of my most-loved past suites. When Danielle saw a design I created for a Halloween themed wedding, she said she loved it! The detail she was most drawn toward was the lace, so we decided a semi-custom wedding invitation was best for D+W’s wedding day.
While I was designing their invitation suite, I removed all of the nods to Halloween (you can see more of them here). I also loved switching the color palette from orange and black to a gorgeous shade of dark pink and gray. We kept the same script style text paired with block fonts, which I think truly pops against the bright, bold lace details.
Danielle and William, I’m sure your wedding invitation offered the best “first look” into your Old St. Joseph’s Church ceremony and Cescaphe Ballroom reception on May 19, 2017. I think you will agree too once you’ve seen all of the details Carly Fuller Photography captured!
