Aside from black and ivory, I think one of the most classic wedding color palettes is ivory and navy blue. The color duo can seamlessly blend with any number of wedding styles, including Courtney and Ivan’s luxury soiree. The pair could not have been more excited for their fall wedding day, which began at Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Following their Philadelphia wedding ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs. joined their guests for their reception at the American Swedish Historical Museum. I can only imagine how wonderful October 14, 2017 was for these two!

When we started talking about their stationery suite during their consultation, they fell in love with the look and feel of Allie and Ryan’s Luxury Gold Foil Pocketfold Wedding Invitation. Because Courtney and Ivan chose a semi-custom invitation design, the invitation’s solid and dot border remained while the rest of the suite was changed. The very first design change was to change the pocketfold and gold foil details. C+I loved the look of a double layer invitation with a bellyband and monogram square, so those were the first changes we made. They were followed by a change in script font. The ability to make these subtle, yet striking, changes is what I love about semi-custom invitations – with just a few alterations, an entirely new look is created!

When I styled this suite with Carly is Inspired, we were careful to pair the suite with details that would allow the classically elegant features to shine brightest. I love the photos Carly Fuller Photography captured, and I hope you do too!
