How did you and your love meet? Courtney and Adam’s families were business contacts for years, but the two never crossed paths. Their families thought they might hit it off, so Adam’s dad thought he would try connecting the two via email. The rest is history! They realized they had much more in common than business contacts – they both love Philadelphia sports, exploring the Poconos, and spending time in Ocean City, New Jersey. The beach holds such prominence in their lives that Adam even proposed there! Because the Philadelphia area served as the backdrop to their relationship, a wedding day downtown was a must. Now Cescaphe Vie is special too.
Courtney and Adam announced they were celebrating both their ceremony and reception at Cescaphe Vie with a special note – black tie attire was invited. So, I knew their wedding invitation needed to have an extra dose of classic and timeless style! We turned to a beautiful palette of gray, silver, and metallic white for their suite. Plus, we also incorporated calligraphy by Myrtle and Lloyd Calligraphy.
The invitation was a triple layer design. Gray shimmer paper served as the base layer, silver mirror paper was added to the middle, and white metallic paper topped off the design. With the paper offering plenty of texture and detail, we opted to print the details digitally in gray ink. To continue to incorporate classic style, adding a two-letter monogram was a must! Adam and Courtney’s monogram was placed at the top of the invitation, and we printed it in silver foil. The invitation and the digitally printed inserts were all held together by a bellyband complete with another monogram – this time it was a monogram square.
