It may have only been for a crisp morning or two, but I think we had our very first taste of fall this week. Friends, I can’t say I’m disappointed. In fact, I’m over-the-moon! As difficult as it is to let go of summer and its never ending light, I’m feeling so hopeful and inspired by the darker, moodier palettes often associated with the fall. Like most wedding professionals, I adore blush. However, the prospect of seeing much more burgundy, green, purple, ivory, and a touch of blush (for good measure!) makes the transition from summer to fall that much more exciting.
To officially kick start the season, I pulled together a few pieces that are inspiring my darker hued palette love. I’m envisioning a wedding with stunning views, crisp leaves, warm drinks (apple cider is always my fall pick!), plaid, and lots of in season dahlias. You may recognize the stationery from Jill and John’s wedding, plus I also designed the apple cider bar which was featured on Brides! Make sure to take a peek below.
