The Manor House at Commonwealth offers a whole different feel for country club weddings! The space overlooks Commonwealth Golf Club, but it’s an 18th century farmhouse. The gorgeous stone, shutter, and fireplace exterior checks off all of the boxes for a beautiful historic venue in Pennsylvania, and it also represents a wonderful spot for a fairytale inspired soiree.
Brittany and Alexander chose this space to welcome their family and friends for their July 7, 2018 luxury wedding day. I should note: I think July is a wonderful month to get married. Summer is reaching it’s height, so the heat is a concern for some. However, there are so many fun nods to the season to offer to your guests – bright palettes, deliciously cool cocktails, outdoor games, and popsicles are just a few.
Brittany and Alexander wanted their invitation suite to have a whimsical feel with a nod to the sweetness of a wedding, so I turned to a white and dark blue palette. The main pieces of the suite, including “Happily Ever After”, were printed onto shimmery dark blue card stock using white matte foil. To add interest, the RSVP insert was digitally printed onto white metallic card stock using dark blue ink. A dark blue satin ribbon held the pieces together and completed the look!
