Elegant and simplistic were the two styles that guided me most while designing Brigette and Dennis’s wedding invitation suite. Their colors were ivory, black, and gold – a classic and timeless palette that also matched their vision. Plus, they were also planning a small soiree at their home in Chester County, Pennsylvania to celebrate their wedding day (something I loved and still do!).
While creating the suite, we opted to use black ink and digital printing rather than another printing technique. I think both paired beautifully with their ivory cotton card stock for their main invitation piece and RSVP insert. To add extra elegance and a little fun, B, D, and I all agreed gold mirror paper was in order. This detail was wrapped around the invitation suite to hold everything together, and we even added the couple’s two-letter monogram on top to complete the look.
