I’ve been sneaking you peeks of these Philadelphia custom wedding invitations for a while now, and it’s time to finally roll them out! They belong to Becca and Paul, who were married on April 26th. They had their reception at the Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia and their ceremony took place at Immaculate Conception BVM Church in Jenkintown, PA.
These invitations have a bit of a story behind them: my favorite kind! When I had my first consultation with Becca, she asked if I would be willing to use her fiancé’s illustrations on their wedding invitations. Of course, I agreed! I was so happy to work with her and Paul to make their vision come alive.
Paul’s illustrations really turned out to be something special. He used watercolors to create light pink and sage green roses for each of the pieces. For the invitations themselves, we printed the flowers digitally and then used thermography to create the raised black lines and text. All of the inserts were printed digitally.
These images are courtesy of Ashley Bartoletti Photography. I’d also like to thank Kate Farley Design for helping me with florals and with styling my work.
Becca and Paul, I wish you all the best in your lives together! Congratulations.
