There’s simply only way to wrap up the magic of 2017 and look ahead to 2018, and that’s with rose gold foil and glitter! Arielle and Matthew became Mr. and Mrs. on September 22, 2017 in Wilmington, Delaware. Their fall ceremony and reception were both held at Brantwyn Estate. Let me be the first to tell you if you haven’t heard already, this venue is stunning, friends! But, would you expect anything else from a property that’s located on the grounds of the DuPont Country Club? Brantwyn Estate is famous for being the former residence of the DuPont family, and it sits on over 60 acres. Plus, it’s filled with classic Georgian architecture – a detail we celebrated in Arielle and Matthew’s luxury wedding suite!
Arielle was drawn toward working with me because she loved many of the custom venue illustrations I had designed for other couples. Rather than designing a traditional illustration, we decided a silhouette illustration would be perfect to allow the rose gold foil of the suite to shine even brighter. I loved this detail, and I hope to design more silhouettes in 2018!
The invitation was a triple layer suite that included rose gold foil on the invitation’s main piece. The inserts were all printed digitally in burgundy on ivory metallic paper, which paired beautifully with the rose gold. A rose gold glitter bellyband held everything together, and I also layered a monogram layer on the bellyband to top off the classic beauty found throughout the design. I hope you take a peek at the photos Carly Fuller Photography captured below.
Thank you for such an incredible 2017. My year would not have been the same without all of YOU, and I cannot wait to showcase each of the designs that will invite guests to weddings (and so much more!) in 2018. Happy New Year! xoxo
