Angela and John celebrated their wedding day on May 20, 2017 at the Barn on Bridge. If you have never been, the venue is beautifully rustic with celebrations held inside a barn (as the name would suggest!) complete with exposed broke and beautiful views of Montgomery County.
When we were designing their suite, Angela and John both mentioned how much they loved the idea of having love birds on their custom wedding invitation suite. So, every piece from the main invitation to the bellyband featured love birds perched on a branch or love birds by themselves. Feather is John’s last name, so A+J also asked to have a few feathers added to the bottom of the design. It was such a fun nod to his name!
Beyond the sweet details, the suite featured a triple layer design – an ivory layer was mounted onto dark purple, and the piece as a whole was mounted onto walnut colored wood. Wooden details are one of the best ways to incorporate a little something unexpected into your stationery design! Plus, the green and purple palette created a bright pop when guests were learning all about A+J’s exciting wedding day to come. The final detail was their bellyband, which featured their custom monogram (and love birds!) to complete the entire design.
My fingers are still crossed for even more bright wedding suites for 2017 and 2018! Make sure to take a peek below at all of the photos Carly Fuller Photography captured.
