It’s always an exciting day when we can virtually take a trip together! Today’s wedding invitation suite was designed for Amanda and John’s destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. In order to enhance the excitement surrounding their wedding day, we decided a custom passport invitation suite would suit them best. What a joy it was to create!
Passport wording is so important, and we wanted the cover to take a page out of a United State’s passport’s book, which is why we titled it “Passport to Paradise” and added “The United Marriage of Amanda and John”. Inside, guests were greeted by a photo of the soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. as well as a host of details from where to stay – the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa – what to pack, and activities to enjoy (other than the wedding!) during the merriment and marriage filled getaway. The gold invitation was printed on shimmery blush paper, and each element of the passport booklet was digitally printed.
Of course, the only way to return an RSVP is in postcard form, which is exactly what I designed for A+J’s destination wedding. I can only imagine how quickly guests checked “Wouldn’t miss it for the world!” before returning their postcards!
